Many times, our kids with significant disabilities can’t attend other camps- FOCUS Family Camp is for you! Escape with your family to the fully adaptive Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, Georgia. FOCUS Family camp prioritizes inclusivity, making sure that everyone in your household is a part of the family fun! In order to make this experience available to as many families as possible, FOCUS limits family camp to one family camp per household per year. You can learn more about CTL on their website.

Eligibility
Have a lifelong physical and/or developmental disability, including rare genetic syndromes, cerebral palsy, autism, and Down syndrome.
FOCUS Kid must be 29 and under at event date.

FOCUS families enjoy the activities at camp such as swimming, boating, putt-putt and archery and the activities that FOCUS plans such as art and other fun.

Other Info
Children/young adults can not be left unattended at Camp Twin Lakes. Families are responsible for childcare at FOCUS family camp
Only Registered Immediate Family Members can be on Camp Twin Lakes Site. FOCUS has to send Camp Twin Lakes a list of all those who will be on site prior to the start of camp. FOCUS cannot accommodate ANY walk-in family members.
Cancelation Policy: FOCUS will refund your event fee minus the deposit fee for all cancellations made two weeks before the event date. Any cancellation within two weeks of the event date will not receive a refund.
Families have access to their own large, shared cabin or lodge room WITH air conditioning.
Rooms come with twin-size mattresses; families need to bring sheets and linens for their own use.
Rooms also have accessible showers, toilets, and sinks for the family to use.
Meals are provided by the Camp Twin Lakes kitchen staff and families will be able to inform the kitchen staff ahead of time about dietary restrictions and allergies.
While fees are charged for Family Camp, partial scholarships are available. Partial scholarships are awarded based on financial need.
3rd Party Waivers Accepted (InCommunity, Bobby Dodd, Acumen).
Camp activities are planned in coordination between Camp Twin Lakes and FOCUS – CTL staff will facilitate archery, climbing, swimming, and more.
FOCUS also offers Saturday “day-only” registration for families that would prefer not to spend the entire weekend. The Saturday “day-only” option includes a lunchtime meal, snacks, and camp activities like boating, fishing, and climbing.
Families arrive for check in Friday afternoon 4PM-6PM. Families check out Sunday after Lunch.
All Families must be off Camp Twin Lakes Property by 1PM on Sunday!
No additional family members may come on Camp Twin Lakes Property without registration.
