This event brings community resources together for education, recreation, networking, advocacy and FUN to support the needs of neurodivergent youth, young adults, and their families in North Fulton County.

The Best Buddies Friendship Walk is the leading event in the country supporting inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

When you come to this festival, you are giving back in a BIG way. This festival is a fundraiser event for Specially Gifted Foundation, which is a Georgia nonprofit organization benefitting families who have children with disabilities. 100% of vendor fees and ticket sales go to SGF.

The Autism Sensory Festival is one of our flagship community events, welcoming hundreds of families with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental and learning differences from across the Atlanta area and surrounding counties. This sensory-friendly festival is thoughtfully designed to provide families with access to trusted resources, supportive service providers, and community partners in a safe, inclusive environment.

Join the Southern Museum for a Sensory Friendly Afternoon! From 2 PM to 5 PM, the museum is transformed into a sensory-friendly environment. We welcome visitors with Autism Spectrum Disorder, sensory processing issues or special needs to explore the Museum at their own pace. All ages are welcome. Included with general admission and free for members!

Sensory Friendly afternoon has added two themed story times at 3 PM and 4 PM, along with an exhibit connection. Visitors will still be able to explore the museum if they choose not to participate in the programming.

Georgia Medicaid Basics and an Overview of Home and Community-Based Services

Join us as P2P discuss Medicaid programs and services, including how to qualify for Medicaid based on a child’s disability or chronic health condition (Katie Beckett Deeming Waiver). This course will include information on EPSDT, GAPP, SOURCE, and a brief overview of CCSP, ICWP and NOW/COMP waivers.

Join us for an afternoon of family-friendly activities in the ballroom!

This is a day to reflect on those lost to CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) & RHI (repetitive head impacts), how to help those suffering with the disease, and most importantly how to stop the disease.

This kid-friendly event gives families from around Georgia the opportunity to speak personally with elected officials about the joys and challenges of raising young children.

Get ready for costumes, candy, and community fun at our Inclusive Trick or Treat event! Designed with accessibility in mind, this family-friendly celebration includes games, inflatables, food trucks, toys, and more — all in a welcoming environment for children of all abilities.

Join P2P as we discuss how to prepare and plan for a smooth transition from Babies Can’t Wait/early intervention. The presentation includes an overview of various programs and services that may be available for three year olds with special needs in your community.

Slip into your not-so-scary costume and come play under the autumn sky! We’ll have spook-tacular games, silly seasonal activities, and a hauntingly good playlist spun by our favorite DJ, Rockin’ Wheels. The Knights of Columbus will be serving up a sizzling barbecue lunch.

Leisure spectrum is an all-inclusive six-week program for those with special needs that involves weekly community outings. Activities may include bowling, laser tag, movies, art, music, shopping, etc.
